We’re meeting up at the park to spend a morning checking out the woods. Looking at rocks, trees, leaves, and the little things we usually walk right past. We’ll take our time, sit for a bit, and see what we notice.

Amber Fisher, a forest therapy practitioner, will guide the morning. She’ll give us simple things to look for or pay attention to, followed by about 15 minutes to explore on our own. Between activities, we’ll meet back up and have a chance to talk about what we found or noticed. Everything is optional & voluntary, including sharing with the group.

We’ll walk a few minutes down a wide path to an area with trees and benches. We won’t cover much ground, though some exploring may take us off the path onto uneven terrain. There will be places to sit, and no experience is needed.
