RALLY POINT

Overview

Rally Point is a veteran-only fire series built for the conversations that only happen after dark: after the patrol, after the watch, after the mission. This is where masks come off and real talk begins. No rank. No pressure. No awkward circles. Just firelight, straight truth, and the kind of humor you only share with people who’ve embraced the suck together.

Each season, Rally Point brings veterans together to connect, share stories, access resources, and build a grounded community rooted in warrior values: integrity, grit, purpose, and showing up for each other. This is an AAR of Life So Far.

SEASON 2

This Season’s Format (What’s Different)

This year, Rally Point expands into a three-lane monthly rhythm, integrating three distinct veteran-centered groups across three nights each month:

  • All-Veterans Night – Mixed service, mixed backgrounds, shared fire

  • Women Veterans Night – A dedicated space for women who served

  • Warriors Group – A focused cohort emphasizing depth, continuity, and trust

In addition, select dates will include:

  • Family Night – A bridge between the veteran fire and the home front

  • Auxiliary Group (Optional) – If facilitators are available, a secondary fire at the farmhouse for spouses, partners, or supporters

Rally Point remains veteran-centric at its core, while allowing space for the broader circle that supports the warrior.

The Mission

Rally Point exists as a zero-mask environment for like-minded veterans navigating the world out of uniform. We move past coffee-shop small talk and get straight to what matters:

  • Firelight talks

  • Straight truth

  • Gallows humor and shared language

This is not therapy. This is not a class. This is a space to be real, be heard, and remember who you are without having to explain yourself.

The Focus: Roots to Harvest

Rally Point follows a Roots to Harvest model: light on rigid topics, heavy on meaningful conversation. Each gathering begins with a focus tied to the Tree of Life, then naturally transitions into organic discussion.

  • Roots I & II – Why we signed up; the foundations of service

  • Trunk I & II– The long rucks, hard days, and shared grit

  • Branches I & II– Navigating the veteran landscape and civilian world

  • Harvest – Celebrating what made it worth it

Sequence of Engagement

Every Rally Point follows a deliberate movement pattern to ensure everyone is grounded, oriented, and ready.

  1. Chow & Staging
Food is available on arrival. Eat, settle in, and warm up socially.

  2. Move to the Firepit
The group transitions together to mark the start of the session.

  3. Introductions & Grounding
Brief check-ins to establish presence and introductions.

  4. Facilitated Topic
Guided discussion tied to the season’s phase. Story-driven, experience-based, and forward/backward looking.

  5. Hangout
The structure fades. Conversation becomes casual, unforced, and real; the after-mission talk we’re here for.

Area of Operations (AO) Policies

  • Veteran Status Only
Rally Point is exclusively for those who have served. Family Nights and Auxiliary in development.

  • Operational Sobriety & Safety
Alcohol is permitted. Sober driving is mandatory. If your system isn’t clear, an overnight bivouac on-site is required.

  • Animal Control
Dogs must remain leashed to protect resident dogs and livestock.

  • Autonomy
You control your pace. You may pause, step away, or disengage at any time.
